Pavillion Attack

from £3.00

In this sixth piece of my Brighton Disaster series, I thought it was only fair that the Brighton Pavilion finally got what was coming to it—namely, a full-scale alien invasion with absolutely no regard for its architectural dignity. Imagine Independence Day colliding headfirst with Mars Attacks, then dropping the whole mess right onto Brighton’s most flamboyant building. There’s lasers, explosions, people legging it in all directions, and a hovering spacecraft behaving like it owns the place. I’ve leaned right into the absurdity of it—this grand, exotic landmark being casually obliterated by something completely ridiculous—because there’s something oddly satisfying about seeing the overly ornate meet the utterly catastrophic. Like the rest of the series, it’s that same idea: take somewhere familiar, push it way past breaking point, and let chaos do the rest… preferably with a sense of humour and a few well-placed death rays.

Available as postcards, mounted paper fine art prints, or hand-finished, limited edition canvases.
